Royal Melbourne Show 2017

Hey Chickens,

So Tuesday (26th of September) I attended the Royal Melbourne show with my Mum and Brother. 

This blogpost might be a little bit short compared to last years show post because I actually only brought showbags this year so I don't have a whole lot to share. But.. because I had money left there will be a haul coming tomorrow night on that.

Also can you guys believe this is my third blogpost for the Royal Melbourne show that I'm writing

Showbags-

Now, If you do not know what a showbag is then listen up because I've been told that it is only like an Australian thing. Basically a showbag is a themed bag that you pay between $2 and whatever the highest price is. For example, if you get a Flake showbag you pay $6 bucks and get flake chocolates.

The showbags I got were the: Flake, Twirl, Bertie Beetle and Furry Friends.
Furry Friends $6-
In this showbag you get a packet of furry friends, some freddo frogs and some dairy milk








Twirl $6-
In this showbag you get small twirls, a bigger twirl and some dairy milk

Flake $6-
In this showbag you get some small flakes and some dairy milk













Bertie Beetle $3-
In this showbag you get some bertie beetles, two kitkats and some lollipops












Rides and Food-
This year I went on some new rides and lets just say I got a bit scared :)
The rides I went on were-
Pirates Revenge
Crazy Coaster
Rockstar
Rock N Roll
Dodgems
Breakdance
The slide- basically like there is about 8 lanes and you slide down them
I did get my photo from the Crazy Coaster because my face is pretty funny, like I look so scared because I was. I was not going to go on The Beast because it actually goes horizontal and I want to keep my stomach but maybe next year.

I went and saw all of the animals and I was so excited when I saw an alpaca like, I was actually so excited and I got a photo of it which is currently my lock screen on my phone. Also there was these really cute ducklings and like honestly, I wanted to steal them all they were so cute and small.

The food at the show is always amazing, and legit I had dutch pancakes for my dinner, like come on, that's a pretty cool dinner. There was always things like hot jam donuts and chocolate strawberrys which are nice but the most amazing thing ever was this pulled pork burger and fried chicken that I had.
If you are going to go to the show, in front of the Masterchef building is all of these food vans and tables. Now, go to the food vans Willys World Famous fried chicken and BBQ and order the fried chicken and chips because you won't regret it and also go to Burnt City Smokers and get the pulled pork burger or something like that if you want to most amazing pulled pork, of your life.

I am not trying to brag in anyway, shape or form, I just wanted to share with you guys my day at the Royal Melbourne Show 2017 and these posts are always nice to look back on for me, just so I can be like, omg, I remember that.

IT review

Hey Chickens,

Last week (actually a week ago) I went to go see the new remake IT movie. 

I've heard so many different views on the movie of people saying it isn't scary or that it isn't good and others are saying that it's really good. In my opinion, I love this movie so much, it scared the shit out of me but I haven't seen the original movie of IT and I haven't read Stephen Kings book that started it all.

Basically the story-line is 7 children all experience an evil force that primarily comes as Pennywise the clown that comes every 27 years. Pennywise changes to what the child is afraid of, but does mainly come as a creepy looking clown. I don't know what else to say without spoiling the story but go check out IMDB if you want a better description.

Now, I actually love this movie so much, I want to go see it again and this has only really happened with one other film- which was Baby Driver. I do have a slight crush on about 5 of the actors in the movie who are:

Jaeden Lieberher 

Finn Wolfhard

Jack Dylan Grazer

Wyatt Oleff

Nicholas Hamilton 

I'm not a complete creep, because the first four actors are around my age (which is 13,14) and the last actor on the list is 17, but oh well. All of these actors are like, omg, please just love me, like hit me up on Instagram. 

I know a lot of people saying that the movie isn't actually scary and I think it all depends on what scares you and how old are you. I'm 13 (almost 14) and I did find IT scary but I'm also petrified of clowns but if you were 40 and didn't think anything of clowns, it might not be scary. It is also actually a really funny film, like there were parts that were like a comedy it was that funny.

This also doesn't have anything to do with the actual review but I was talking to a friend the other day and we were saying about how if you were Georgie (the little kid) and saw that scary as clown in the gutter we would probably shit ourselfs and not talk to a clown that look sketchy as and that was in a gutter.

Now, your probably thinking, omg, Emma actually posted for once but it is the September holidays for me now so that means I can post every other night and get back on top of blogging so I can go back into term 4 with the same flow.

Cheap but amazing skincare product ??!!

Hey chickens,
This is blogpost is going to be short because I have heaps of homework and most of it is due in tomorrow but I really wanted to post. Now, this skincare product is 3 bucks from Kmart and I honestly love it, it is so nice for the skin.

Now, your probably thinking, what is this product called, well, I'll tell you that. It is the Rosehip and Jojoba face oil. I have a couple things from this range by Kmart and honestly they makeup your skin look really nice. And they are only about $3 dollars which is a bargain and if you have sensitive skin to things like acids in skincare products, it's worth checking these out.

Crushes

Hey Chickens,

Happy Monday !!

How has everyone been? I hope you have all been good.

This blogpost is basically me ranting and getting stuff off my chest because I'm pissed off at the school system and legit like crushes and friends.

Right now I should be doing my homework that's due tomorrow, but fuck that because legit I am so sick of my teachers not giving us enough time to do things in class which means it's homework. Like, I do talk in class but I do my work and try and get it done but my god we'll get on lessons to get 12 questions done and it seems easy but when you have to write out every 5 line question and write at least 3 sentences, it takes a while. I'm grateful that I live in a country where I have access to the education system but honestly I go to a public school and most nights I'm doing 3 hours of homework at the least. I'm just really pissed off about the education system.

Basically I have this kinda crush on this guy in my friendship group. Now I told one friend who isn't in the group then I told 3 friends in the group about my crush on this guy. The guy I like, likes one of my friends in the group that I told and she is like one of my best-friends. The guy I like has a crush on my best-friend and everyone knows like it's an open thing but she doesn't like him back and that's an open thing as well. 

I hope that makes sense.

On the weekend the 3 friends I told, we went out shopping then went back to one of their houses. Then the girl I'm best-friends she called the guy and we were all talking to him then she and like one of my other best-friends starts asking him like oh would you date Emma and stupid stuff like that. Then today he was like oh what was Saturday about and me and my best-friend were already laughing at something else and then I was tryna act cool (wasn't going to well) and then my friends started saying to the guy you should date Emma and I'm like, deny, deny, deny and then my best-friend took a vote in our friendship group and like a fair few people said yeah we should. When my best-friend asked him today would you date Emma he said maybe but usually when I say maybe, it means no. He asked my best-friend like does Emma like me and she was so nice and said no and apparently he said I thought so, which like that aint true. 

This whole situation has me like all messed up because I do kinda like him but he likes one of my best-friends but my best-friend likes one of his friends and it's all really confusing but I'm hoping that makes sense- also it is a lot easier when you have names in it but anyway.

I will update you on Instagram if anything changes in this situation but yeah. I legit going to go lie in bed, grab a book and read because I'm so tired and today was stressful and I need to relax. I know this is all really self centred but I wanted to post for you guys and I thought why not this because you don't see stories like this all the time and I thought it might be relatable.

Rimmel London Insta collection

Hey chickens,

Today's blogpost will be about Rimmel Londons new Insta range. They kindly sent me all of these products, two of them have already been out but there is three new products in this range. 

I know I've been really in and out these past four weeks, but legit, I've been so busy with school (like doing homework) that I've haven't had any time during the week and then on the weekends, I'm usually busy during the day then it gets to late to post a blogpost, but these aren't excuses, I will be trying to post through-out the week this week but lets get into reviewing some makeup.

Fix and Matte translucent powder-

This powder is really fine, it doesn't settle into your foundation so it doesn't create fine lines with your makeup. I wouldn't suggest building this product up because when I tried doing that, it make my face look really not blended properly and caused my foundation to crease around my eyes. I personally think this powder looks really nice to set underneath your eyes and my nose is oily so I used I tried just using on my nose and it worked really good. Although this is a prety good product, it does not beat my trusty Stay Matte by Rimmel. Also the powder has little hashtags marked into it, which is so cool

Fix and Go Setting spray-
This product actually came out a few months ago and a lot of people said that they had trouble with the actually part that the liquid comes out of, but I honestly disagree. I think that the part the liquid comes out of is really nice because it makes the spray really fine. This is also a 2-in-1 setting spray and primer so I thought, why not try it as a primer. I thought it did pretty good as a primer, my makeup did not last as long in areas like my nose where I'm really oily but apart from that I couldn't tell much difference. My advice on the setting spray part may not be too helpful because this is the first setting spray I've used but I think it makes my makeup look more fresh and it is really hydrating for your skin. It also smells really nice.

Flawless skin tint (I think that is what it's called)-

This product has also been out for a while and I actually really wanted to try it so I was excited to use it and legit, like this has changed my life. I'm actually thinking about swapping this over for my foundation because this is basically a tinted moisturiser and it looks so nice on your skin and it's so easy to blend. I love this also because it makes your skin look really bright. I got this is light to medium and I'm a fairly pale person if that is any help.

Conceal and Contour palette and Conceal and Correct palette-

When I saw the promo pictures for this mini palette and the Conceal and Correct one, I instantly knew I had to have these in my life. Then it hit me that these products are cream and cream products do not like to blend on my face, they just kinda stay there and look smudged. This little cream pans do not feel like a cream product, they blend so nicely and feel so light and nice on your face. I actually cannot express enough how nice these blend with a beauty blender (I used one from Kmart). This palettes and pretty small but the pan size is fairly decent and you get a fair bit of product in each one. The only problem I have with these palettes are that when you are putting your brush into the pan to get product, it spreads on the side- you'll see what I mean down below. Each product in these pans have really nice coverage and last for a long time. 

   The overall packaging for this collection is actually so cute, like all the writing is shiny pink and the actually thing the products are in is a really nice tan colour. It all just looks so nice in person and on a camera. I'm so grateful that these products were sent to me because they are all amazing in my opinion. Some of these products are a little bit pricey in my opinion but like most makeup is expensive.

Rimmel London- Blue eyeshadow trend and Fibre pencil

Happy August Everyone,

This blogpost will be a bit disjointed because basically months ago Coty sent me some blue eye products to test out as like a trend report and then a few weeks ago they sent me the Brow This Way Fibre pencil. I would have photos for these products but my phone charger is not working so my phone is out of charge and now I have to use my iPad for Instagram and Snapchat but the camera on my iPad is grainy so I don't want to post shity photos but anyway. I'm sorry that there won't be any photos in this post but I'm going to leave links to everything.

Blue eye trend-
I was so lucky to receive these products from Coty-
Covergirl Katy Kat eye mascara in 'Perry Blue'
Rimmel Scandleyes Shadow stick in '009 Blamed Blue'
Rimmel Colour Precise eyeliner in 'Blue'
Rimmel Exaggerate waterproof eye definer in '230 Deep Ocean'
Rimmel Magnif'eyes shadow stick in '004 Dark side of Blue'
Rimmel Soft Kohl eyeliner in '021 Denim Blue'

Combinations-
1-
Use Covergirl mascara on top and bottom lashes
Add normal blue winged eyeliner
Use Exaggerate waterproof eye definer on the lower lash line
Then use the Shadow stick in 004- Blue on the lid and the grey in the crease

2-
Use Covergirl mascara on top and bottom lashes
Add 009 Shadow stick all over the lid and add some into the crease
Use Soft Kohl eyeliner in the corner of your eyes

Brow This Way Fibre pencil-
This is a new product in Rimmel London's Brow This Way range. I got this product in 'Brown' and honestly this pencil does wonders for your eyebrows if you like them to look natural and not the blod out there look. I much prefer my eyebrows to look natural so this product has been my go to recently for my brows. It adds a nice fill in to your brows giving them some dimension without being super bold. I believe this retails for about $10.95 which is not actually too bad of a price. The actually product is fairly slim and when you first buy the pencil feels kinda hard when you fill in your brows but after a few uses it wares down a bit and gets blunt. Overall I love this product and I'm always finding myself reaching for it when I go to do my brows.

I'm so sorry this post is kinda a weird makeup post but I really needed to get it done and posted because I've had these products for a while. Also I'm sorry that there isn't any pictures, my phone is dead and I didn't want to take half the quality pictures on my iPad.
Right now I'm watching Freaky Friday and I love this movie so much but I've haven't watched it in like forever. I was also watching Pingu before and discovered that Penginese is a language, like honestly I need to learn this language right now.
I got a double bed yesterday which I'm still so excited about because I have only had a single bed before and I have all new doonas and doona covers which means there will be two new backgrounds for photos so yeah. It also means that I'll be able to do more fashion posts because I have a bigger space to spread my clothes out and take photos of them.
