Why you shouldn't listen to the media

Hey Chickens,
Before I even start the intro to this post I want to put it out there that this is my belief, you will have a different belief to me but I want to put this out there for people to read and understand how messed up the media can be.
This has come up from a certain event from today which was the Collingwood vs Adelaide AFL footy match today. Now, I do go for Collingwood and I'm not saying this because I'm bias this is how I view this situation. I also did believe all of this stuff and think all of this stuff about the media before the day, like I honestly don't really just the media.

At one point during the match, Collingwood had a 50 point lead against Adelaide. Then Adelaide came back and they had a draw. Most people would think that was good considering Adelaide was first on the ladder while Collingwood was thirteen.

This is how I viewed it-
Collingwood had a lead over Adelaide from the start then had a draw with the team that is on top of the ladder and that is good for a team who has lost a few matches this season.
This is how the media views it-
Adelaide came from a 50 point lead and they are so good and Collingwood is just shit because they didn't win.

And honestly I'm not joking, the newspaper and online articles will all say because they look at the bad from Collingwood. I watch the game on t.v and Collingwood players played really good all game but that doesn't matter because they lost a 50 point lead. I honestly see this as Collingwood being really good for drawing with the top team.
Also if Collingwood is so bad, why did they get a 50 point lead on the top team on the AFL ladder. Also if Adelaide is meant to be this good, why was Collingwood getting a 50 point lead on them and why didn't they just absolutely thrash Collingwood instead of drawing with them.

Even just right now watching 7 News, they are saying how Cillingwood just got in a draw yet it was Adelaide who did because they kick a goal after full time siren. Also the Adelaide guy who kick the goal after siren only just got it in.

Just to say again, this is my opinion, I am not being bias because I'm a Collingwood fan this was just an example and a spare of the moment thing that I wrote because I was really pissed off and I still am because of how the media is going to view this

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much if you read this far into the post, your all so amazing and super cool. I actually am so sorry about writing a post like this but I feel like you need to sometimes because the world isn't all sweet and people need to know that but with that being said please comment down below your opinions on this topic and even if you have hate against my opinion please comment it. I love you all to Venus and back but until next time, bye

Movie Reviews

Hey Chickens,
Now, these three movies that I am review are not on at the movies anymore and I am a bit late but I do want to review these movies for you guys. There is also another film that I'm going to be review but that is going to be a separate post because it deserves it's own blogpost. The three movies that will be reviewed are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Mummy and Pirates of the Carribean- Dead man tells no tales.

Guardians of the Galaxy-
Now, I saw the second one of these before the first so I wasn't too sure what was happening but I will have to say that I do prefer the second GOTG than the first but they are both equally funny. I went to go see this months ago but honestly it is such a funny movie, like I love it so much and I'm not even really a fan of the Marvel movies. This film follows the adventures of The Guardians of the galaxy crew and it goes into Star Lord or Peter Quill's parentage. Even if you think this movie isn't for you, it probably is because it is so bloody funny but have you seen Baby Groot, like he is just worth watching it.
Rated M
5/5 stars

The Mummy-
When I first saw the ad thing for this movie I really wanted to go see it like I thought this looked like a really good movie. From my understanding, this is a remake and I haven't seen the original so yeah but I thought the film was quite good. I found it quite hard to follow and I didn't understand some parts but apart from that I though the story-line was good, I did not understand the ending at all, it was so confusing and didn't make any sense at all but the start was my favourite part.
Rated M (I think)
3.5/5 stars

Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead man tells no tales
I really liked this movie, I thought it was really good. I haven't seen any other Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I know that there were some parts that tied in with like the first movie but apart from that, I loved it. There was a really hot guy in it (Brenton Thwaites) and Orlando Bloom also was in it, it had a good cast, good story-line and yeah.
Rated PG or M (Not to sure)
4.8/5 stars

Over all my favourite movie out of all three of them was probably Guardians of the Galaxy, with my least favourite being The Mummy. I did really like all three of these films though. Now, I am the type of person who mostly likes every movie that I watch because I want to see it, I rarely ever see a movie that I don't like. I did see Before I Fall at the start of the year, it was pretty good all the way up to the end and I hated the end and it was depressing and the ending just ruined the whole movie for me.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much for reading this blogpost. I know this was a bit late because known of these films are still at the movies but I still wanted to upload it. Thank-you for reading this post if you did, you are awesome. I also do hope you enjoyed this kinda different type of review, I'm just currently testing the waters. I love you all to Mars and back but until next time, bye

This film is actually amazing...!!

Hey Chickens,
Now, before we get into this post I need to prepare you for how good this movie is. This movie is one of my favourite movies ever, like I went to go see this last Saturday and it's been almost a week and I'm still thinking about it.
This film is called Baby Driver.

Baby Driver is about a young getaway driver who works for a crime boss who plans heists that criminals go and do. This film features the actor who plays Shane Walsh on The Walking Dead (Jon Bernthal), It also has Ansel Elgort who was in Divergent and The fault in our Stars. Over all I love this movie so much, I can't wait till it comes out on Dvd because I'll be watching it like every day and I'm not even joking because this movie is that good. It's really hard to express how good this movie is through a screen but honestly it's so funny it has really good twist and you should just go see it for yourself because it deserves to be seen by everyone. The soundtrack to the movie is also amazing like I've never loved a soundtrack as much as this movie. It is rated MA but it isn't really an MA movie, I think it's only MA because of the swearing but like come on, it's not like we all haven't heard the F word before.

All of the actors in the movie just suit their roles and play their roles so good and just arg I love this movie so much. Like honestly right now I would go and see it again. It's actually really hard to explain through a screen how good a film is because you can't see my facial expressions but if I was you I'd go and see this movie and watch the trailers and listen to the soundtrack because everything about the movie is perfect and I just love it so much. Like, ah, it is just so amazing.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much for reading this post, it means so much to me and so does every little bit of your support. I hoped you enjoyed this movie review blogpost, I honestly can't seem to express how amazingly perfect and fantastic this movie is, like if you get a chance to see it, go see it because it will be worth it. I love you all to Jupiter and back but until next time, bye

Officeworks haul

Hey Chickens,
Most of us have one certain shop where if we walk into it you just know that you are going to walk out with something. For me, this is basically every single shop I like, so yeah. Now, I had saved up some money and went to Office works, brought things that I probably don't need but they are cute and I like them so oh well.

The first thing I got which was what I actually went in there for in the first place is a pen cup. This one is like a teal with the little & symbol in a natural colour and some fading with the natural colour.
The pen cup was $6.95

Then I got this little sticky note set, it is like a little aqua book that has five different types of sticky notes inside and overall it's just really cute and something that it will keep me organised while being stylish. The sticky notes inside are- one has 'Messages', one has 'Very important stuff', and the other has 'Lists for days'. The other ones or just small ones and bigger ones with a grid on it.
The sticky note book was $5.95

These next three things, I had absolute no purpose for them when I brought them but now I've got some ideas for them and I know what I'm going to end up doing with them when I'm putting my desk together. But I still do think that these Manilla folders are cute. One design is just plain white with gold metallic zig zags. The second one is a green/mint colour with a cute little white diamond patterns all over it. And the third one is white with different coloured blue patterns.
Manilla folders were $1.95 each

These next two notepads are for like listing and remember things and important notes. One has a grey border with 'Today is a new day' down at the bottom and the second one has a beige type colour border with a box and at bottom and 'Notes + Wishes' at the top.
Notepads were $5.95 each

This notebook has a funny story to go along with it. I was walking to the checkout and on the aisle hanger thing (you know the things the hang to put things at the end of the aisle) and I thought, this notebook has such a nice saying and I'll just get it because why not. It says 'Do something today that your future self will thank you for'. At the checkout when the woman was going to scan the item, there wasn't a bar code so she didn't charge me for the notebook so thanks to you woman that works at Officeworks but also the last time I went to Officeworks I had the same woman serve me and she was such a female dog, like what she said and stuff. I don't care if your tired and you want to get off work, that is not excuse for treating your customer badly, like don't do it. When I'm at school and it's the end of the term and I'm tired I can't just start being rude to teachers just because 'I'm tired'. Sorry for that little rant but some people just really annoy me.
With that being said, I don't know the price of this product.

Now, I don't now when this is going to be upload but I'm writing this before my two year blogging anniversary so I'm planing a whole big and long blogpost about my past two years like what I have achieved, what I've overcome through blogging and how I've changed as a person having my own platform on the internet.

Part of the reason why I went to Office works is because I'm currently doing over my room, like I'm getting new furniture, I'm getting a new bed and I'm also getting just new stuff for my room because I need a change. I'm also buying them with my own money (except for the bed) which is proving to be hard because I have to do jobs to get money but there is only so many jobs I can do.
Once I have gotten everything I'm going to do a massive blogpost about it but that won't be for a while.

Also, I'm not trying to brag or show off in anyway, shape or form, I just want to share with you guys what I have gotten and I never do mean any harm in any for my blogposts.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank you so much for reading this blogpost, it means a whole lot to me and so does any bit of your support, so thanks to you. I hoped you enjoyed this post, again, I'm not trying to brag, my intentions are good. I love you all to the Moon and back but until next time, bye

2 YEAR BLOGGING ANNIVERSARY

Hey Chickens,
Now, today marks a very special day. Today marks the day of my two year blogging anniversary. Yep, that's right, I have been blogging on this very blog for exactly two years. When I sat down on my bed a few days ago with my blogging book to start brainstorming and planning ideas for this post, it made me realise that these past two years have gone so quickly and in that time I have become a hole different person, I have achieved things, I have overcome personal things and I've meet some pretty cool people over the internet. I also thought that if I didn't start blogging, what would my life be like now, what would I be like now?

Over these past two years I have been so lucky too have 4,775 people look at my blog like that is honestly such a huge amount of people that have looked at my blog and from where the people are from is like from all over the world.
United States- 2255
Australia- 1420
France- 387
United Kingdom- 149
Portugal- 147
New Zealand- 97
Russia- 76
Germany- 44
Canada- 37
Poland- 27
Like honestly looking at those stats is like ridiculous because I live in Australia and that is such a wide range of people from across the whole globe and over two years 4,775 people have looked at my blog and imagining that man people all together in my head is mind blowing.
Going over to my Instagram I have 1,474 followers which is again a quite big amount of people that are following me and liking my pictures. I also have 153 posts (154 after I post this).

Thinking about blogging and what I've been doing with my spare time for 2 years (which is blogging) it has made be realise that I'm a complete different person to who I was when I started this. When I started blogging I would have been 11 because my birthday is at the end of the year and even though I was in year 6 when I started and I'm now in year 8 I have changed a lot in how I think about things a react to them. Your probably thinking, Emma a 13 year old is of course going to think differently to an 11 year old but I've gotten more confidence, in my appearance I've changed, how I approach money and look at money is very different, I feel like I appreciate things more and I don't feel like I need as much stuff. Saying this, I can't prove that blogging has made these things change within me but when I started blogging in year 6 I did get more confident after that. Also thinking that maybe if I didn't start blogging or if I stopped blogging I might not be who I am now and where I am now and that kinda scares me.

I started watching YouTube and stuff in year 5 and I still do so but back then when I would watch YouTube, I would feel sorry for the Youtubers if one of their videos didn't get as many views as they would have liked but now I actually get really annoyed. The reason why I get annoyed is because they are all supposed to be about their viewers but they are just getting caught up in all the numbers, it's the same with some of my fellow bloggers. They will post on their Instagram that they are losing followers and it kinda breaks my heart because they are getting caught up in the numbers and it is not  a nice thing to get caught in, I know myself. That brings me to what I want to talk about, a few times now I have thought about quiting blogging because a blogpost I worked so hard on only got 10 views but now I am way past that and I don't care about the numbers because I sat myself down and make me think everything through and that included going back to my very first blogpost and reading it and it says 'I'm just doing this for fun' and those are words I live by to this day. I don't care about views or if I don't get over 20 likes on a Instagram post because I'm doing this for me and if people are interested in it, it is a bonus. Also don't get me wrong, I appreciate any like or any view that you guys give, I just don't get upset anyone if it isn't a big number.

I'm honestly so grateful for this blog and for you guys. This whole website and my Instagram and receiving packages from Coty of Rimmel London products is just so mind blowing sometimes because I have all of this in my life. I am also so lucky to have all this in my life and to be able to have all of this in my life.
Now, with that all being said to go along with my 2 year blogging annivsary, I have decided to add some things to my blog, I was going to refesh it all but I really like the colours of my blog so I kept it the way it is and just added some new things to them so make sure to follow my blog and take my polls.

Now, I don't want to make this post all about me, so to you guys because you deserve it. Thank-you so (Insert F word) much for everything you do, not even just me. For anyone blogger, Youtuber and just anyone who has something on the internet, Thank-you so much for your support to anyone because of you, your favourite Youtubers are getting paid, because of you, some people are continuing to do something and because of you, well, your just making a huge difference in someones life, whoever it is, but it someone.
Also just quickly before I finish this off, in my last post I said I wasn't a fan of Metallica but I pre-wrote that like a month ago and that has changed now. I have to say that I am a fan of Metallica.
Over all within 2 years I have published 218 (219 after this) and have posted 153 (again, 154 after this) Instagram posts.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much for reading this special post for my 2 year blogging anniversary, just all and any of your support means so much to me. You guys are all so bloody amazing, just remember that. I hoped you enjoyed this post, hopefully it isn't too long to read. I love you all to Mercury and back but until next time, bye

Winter clothing haul

Hey chickens,
I have literally been waiting to do this blogpost for ages because some clothes have been in the wash then others haven't and that is also why the lighting is different in every picture because most of them where taken on different days at different times but any. Also sorry if you see my leg or iPad in these pictures, except it.

These items of clothing have been purchased over a big amount of time, like I got the bomber jacket and shoes in like March then I got the tops from Supre in like May, and I am not really sure why I wrote all of that but I felt like I needed to add it in.
The way I am going to write this is go by the shop then have the item of clothing, the price of it and the picture but please bare with me because this is my first fashion type blogpost.

Kmart-
Rose gold/ dusty pink bomber jacket- $30
This bomber jacket is quite thick and it has like this stuff inside it that makes it warm and comfy. I can't think of the name of what it is called.

Blue and white flannel- $17
This flannie is so pretty, the blue and white just look so nice and the material of it isn't thick but it's not super thin either.
Black and white flannel- $17
This flannie is just a basic black and white one, I actually already had a black and white flannie but it was in the middle of thick and thin and when I saw a thick flannie I just needed to have it because this winter is literally freezing

Denim shirt- $17
I love denim shirts, I think that they just look really nice and this one is so comfortable and you don't get to hot in it because it's not too thick but it does keep you warm

Red and black hooded flannel- $17
I have seen so many flannies with hoods on like Instagram and I really wanted one so I got so excited when I found ones of Kmart that also make you warm because it is thick material

Imagine sweatshirt- $12
I honestly live in this sweatshirt, I actually ended up getting another one because I just loved them so much, they are so comfortable

Boots- $30
These boots are so great, I just love them. These boots just make me feel instantly super confident but DO NOT wear these for a long amount of time with a lot of walking, I had to learn that the hard way

Target-
Black jeans- $35
There isn't much to say about jeans except that they are not ripped, that is a massive tick and that I just really like to way target jeans fit and feel. I also got 2 pairs of these.

Red, blue and white flannel- $25
This flannie is very thin but I just really liked the colours together and how it looked. It is really nice to put underneath my denim jacket because it doesn't became to bulky.

Grey and salmon tees- $12
These tee-shirts are so comfortable and look nice with everything except my mum accidentally shrunk both of the tops so I mostly just wear them around the house but they are really nice and chill. They also have a tiny bit of a v-neck that goes down quite far.

Supre-
Grey, rose tee-shirt- $25
This goes for all of these tee-shirts but they are all so comfy but after one wash some of the stuff that sticks onto the tee-shirt started to come off and I was annoyed because I payed $25 for something that is falling after one wash, but it does fit nice and I do like this tee-shirt. It also goes really nice with a leather jacket

Metallica tee-shirt- $15
I am not a fan of Metallica, I have listened to 3 of heir songs and did not like them but I just like the colours of the tee-shirt. I also like how the tee-shirt is off white it makes it more nice

Skull tee-shirt- $15
This tee-shirt is so cute and I love the skull and how it has a pink flower crown and this looks really pretty and cute with a denim jacket.

Sorry if this blogpost isn't the best, this is my first time doing a fashion blogpost so there will be things that I can fix. Also sorry that this blogpost is so long, I didn't mean for it to be this long.
I was going to put the links for all of the items in this blogpost but I couldn't find some of them on their websites but you can probably find them if you really wanted one of these clothing items.

I am not trying to brag or show off in this blogpost, I just wanted to share the clothing items that I got for winter. This blogpost is sponsored in any way, shape or form and these were all brought with my own money.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much for reading this blogpost, you are all amazing and the support you give is just so fantastic like you are all just super cool. I hoped you enjoyed this post, maybe you have some of these clothes or maybe you are going to get some of them. I love you all to the Moon and back but until next time, bye

Comic Con Melbourne 2017

Hey Chickens,
Now, I know I said this would be up Sunday and it is now Wednesday but in my defence, I have been fairly busy but still, I didn't stick to my word. I have also been sick and like it came on really quickly and it's shit but I haven't let it stop me.
But anyway....
If you are thinking, what the hell is Comic Con, well let me explain. It is a big convention which has cosplay, different actors come down to Australia to host pictures and autographs and there are panels with different people and there are all of these stalls with comics and pop vinyls and geek type stuff. This isn't only in Australia as well, it is all over America. Because I am the biggest geek ever and when I saw Comic Con way earlier in the year I was like, Mum, we need to go to this and well, I was very lucky and my Mum took me.

Now, I did buy a few things so I will share those with you but this will mostly just be my day and different photos I took but lets get started.
What I brought-
I love pop vinyls which are little figures and I wanted to expand my collection so I decided to get a little Frodo Baggins one from Lord of the Rings. The only thing is, now that I have brought Frodo, I need Sam to go along with him.
I also brought an old Marvel superhero comic. I am not really into comics, I have never properly read one but I want to start collecting old comics and have a collection so I thought, why not start my collection at Comic Con.

My day at Comic Con-
I didn't actually dress up for Comic Con, but I did almost go as Negan from The Walking Dead but I thought, no, I'll be normal.
Before I even got into Comic Con I did two things. I went to Maccas to get some lunch then I went into the bathrooms at Crown because I needed to check my makeup and I also found some wild toilet paper. If you were wondering what I got at Maccas, I got a large frozen coke, 6 chicken (or whatever they are) nuggets and a small chips.

Then after my Mum and I got out tickets, we went into the main building where everything was and right in front of the door we walked into, there was a sword fight going on with cosplayers and it had like proper rules and everything but that was boring because they weren't being fun. Also just now, I'm charging my laptop while I'm writing this and I have managed to bend my laptop charger like the actual part you but into the laptop so um yeah, just thought I would update you. There was also a Just Dance station and this guy, this one guy is my spirit animal. He couldn't dance but he was like dancing to Katy Perrys, I kissed a girl and it was everything.
I also saw a baby Groot, and it was so cute, like if you don't know who baby Groot is, search him up now because there is nothing you can lose from that but anyway. I got a few photos with baby Groot. They also had a little wall with different statues of Star Wars characters so I got pictures with all of them and I also sat in this really comfy chair with people dressed up as stormtroopers on the side.

There was also this stand that had all of these amazing Lego creations, like these were insane they didn't even look like Lego. They had this one Star Wars one which was so cool, I don't even know how people can create these and there was also this castle and it was crazy insane. I didn't even look like Lego, it just look like a creation of some sort.

I went on the Saturday for this and I'm trying to keep my wristband on for the whole of the holidays and I have had like a few showers and two baths and I still have it one.
I'm actually quite concerned about my laptop charger so I'm hoping everything will be ok. My laptop is still charging so that is good, lets just hope it stays that way.
It is currently 12:48 am while I'm writing this and I'm going to try and write like 3 or 4 blogposts tonight. Also on Friday it is my two year blogging anniversary which I can't actually believe that it was been two years since I signed up to Blogspot and wrote my own post.

Sadly, our time has come to an end. Thank-you all so much for reading this blogpost, it means so much to me that you read my posts because it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know people actually care about what I am writing. I hoped you enjoyed this post, I wasn't trying to brag or anything, it was just for entertainment purposes and comment down below if you are/ have gone to a Comic Con. I love you all to Mars and back but until next time, bye
